Who We Are
Bail is a relationship business. So is leading a bail agency. Both depend on long memory and consistent standards.
Angels Bail Bonds was founded in 1956 in Southern California. We have been continuously family-owned and California-licensed for the entire history of the agency. The current leadership team is responsible for agency operations, underwriting standards, surety relationships, and the regulatory compliance that keeps a bail agency in good standing year after year.
California has rewritten its bail bond regulations several times across the agency’s history — most recently with AB 391 in 2024, which established new written-disclosure requirements for bail bond contracts. Leadership’s job is to make sure those changes are reflected in how every contract is written, every premium is quoted, and every indemnitor is treated. That work is not flashy. It is the difference between an agency that lasts 65 years and one that does not.
The agency’s casework reflects that longevity. We have written everything from $500 misdemeanor bonds to multi-million-dollar bonds with property collateral, including, historically, the $3,000,000 bond posted for Michael Jackson in 2003. Discretion is standard practice on all client matters; we do not comment on individual cases without authorization.
Call (626) 478-1062 for a free, confidential consultation. The agency operates under a single license (#1K06080) and one set of standards — whether the bond is $500 or $5,000,000.

How agency leadership has evolved while the core operating standard has not.
Track Record
Continuity, casework, and an active California license.
Few California bail agencies have operated continuously under one family for as long. That continuity translates into deep relationships with sheriffs, court clerks, and defense bars across the state.
The agency has written bonds for notable defendants including, historically, the Michael Jackson $3 million bond in 2003. Discretion is standard practice — we do not discuss client matters publicly without authorization.
Our agency license is active and in good standing with the California Department of Insurance. Verifiable through the CDI online license lookup.
